Founded in 2002 as Island Transvoyager, the company had been operating three leased Dornier 228 aircraft. All of these were retired by early 2013 and replaced by all brand new ATR 42-600. They are the first airline operator in the Philippines to acquire and operate the ATR 600 series which is the most modern turboprop in the world. AirSwift is the only boutique commercial airline in the Philippines that is ISO-9001:2008 certified and have also passed the quality and safety audits of some of the strictest and most safety-conscious multinational corporations who judge us against the highest global aviation safety standards.
